Linzi Ramsden Ceramics offers a wide range of services and products to their customers. They offer pottery classes for those who want to learn the art of ceramics, as well as a range of handmade ceramics that are available for purchase. Their products inLinzi Ramsden always wanted to work as a designer maker and as a result got Princes Funding. A year after graduating from Staffordshire University she gained a permanent space at Manchester Craft & Design Centre.
She uses a variety of fabric materials to decorate her ceramic, wall art and vessel pieces that she produces.
She uses Embroidery and fabric, then stains the Embroidery and fabric with oxide colours that are used to had colour to ceramic, vessel and wall art pieces.
They are finished to the highest possible standard and presented as wall hangings.
Considering her pieces would have been fired, embroidered and been added with colour using oxide it would have taken at least one day to produce one small squared design and possibly a week to produce a small collection.
These ceramics have been successful because a lot of very careful planning and consideration has gone into making sure they have been displayed to the public successfully.

Fred’s is an English-style café with a northern accent and appetite. Inspired by classic British staples and high-quality ingredients, we take simple, locally sourced, seasonal things and turn them into lunch things, snack things, baked things, sweet things, comfort things and surprisingly chef-y things, along with all the cups, mugs, pints & bottles of things you’d expect from a café that isn’t mucking about.
Made fresh every day, you might find that some things can and do change. But that’s not a bad thing. You can always try something else. Open for coffee and breakfast snacks from 10am, and serving lunch from 12pm, you’ll find us here Tue-Sat and Market Sundays, doing what we do best.

Linzi’s architectural vessels and ceramic wall art have found a group of collectors who regularly return to buy her latest pieces.
“I graduated from Staffordshire University in Stoke, where I’d seen ceramics working as an industry,” says Linzi. “But I always knew I didn’t want to work in industry because you never get to touch clay again. I decided to be a designer-maker and I got Prince’s Trust funding.”
She started out in her converted garage in Moston and, a year later, became a sub-tenant at the Craft Centre. When the main tenant went travelling, Linzi ‘took over her life’,
