LOKOJA – The former Deputy Governor of Kogi State, Arc. Yomi Awoniyi, has noted With deep sorrow and a profound sense of loss, the passing of Chief Patrick Adaba, former Deputy Governor of Kogi State, who departed this world yesterday after a brief illness.
“Beyond his public service, Chief Patrick Adaba was a jovial and sociable man, always full of warmth and laughter. He had a rare ability to connect with people, bringing joy to those around him.
“His passing comes on the heels of the death of his older brother, Dr. Tom Adaba, who was interred just days ago. This is an especially painful moment for the Adaba families and all who held them dear.
” His departure is not just a loss to his family but to Kogi State and Nigeria as a whole. We pray that the Almighty grants his soul eternal rest and gives his family, friends, and all who knew him the strength to bear this great loss.
