Born in Hollywood, California on November 11, , Leonardo attended the Seeds University Elementary School at UCLA where he also took summer courses in performance art before moving on to the Centre for Enriched Studies in Los Angeles. Following that, DiCaprio enrolled at John Marshall High School. Having exposure to the underground art culture from an early age, Leonardo had it instilled in him that creativity was a hugely important thing.
