The life peerage recently conferred upon Mr Kulveer Singh Ranger, has been gazetted in the name, style and title of Baron Ranger of Northwood, of Pimlico in the City of Westminster, 11 July,

Lord Ranger of Northwood, FRSA (born 21 February ), is a strategy and communications executive, TechUK board member, and Conservative member of the House of Lords. He was the unsuccessful Conservative candidate in Makerfield at the general election. He unsuccessfully stood in Syon ward in the Hounslow London Borough Council election. Lord Ranger became a well known name after he was head hunted to become the Director for Transport Policy by Boris Johnson after Johnson won the Mayoral election in May His previous experience in implementing the Oyster card system for London was key in him becoming selected by Johnson.

He was ennobled in Boris Johnson's resignation honours list.
